    • Internet Classics Archive - Sponsored in part by the MIT Program in Writing and Humanistic Studies, this site selects from a list of 441 works of  classical literature by 59 different authors, including user-driven commentary and "reader's choice" Web sites. Mainly Greco-Roman works (some Chinese and Persian), all in English translation.

    • Perseus Project - This is a collaborative effort out of Tufts University to develop a multimedia interactive database on Archaic and Classical Greece including literature, history, art, archaeology. It is intended to be used as a teaching and research tool. Available through this web site are texts in Greek and in translation, catalogue entries and images of vases, sculptures, coins, buildings, sites, and an Atlas.
    • Roma - Rome was one of the largest empires of all time. At one point their land spanned over much of western Asia and the British Isles as well as into the northern part of Africa.
