are more content-oriented pages to help students learn more about the nature
and dynamics of these storms as well as pages for teachers that provide
ideas and directions for developing units on hurricanes and other environmental
topics.

Hunters - http://www.hurricanehunters.com
The Keesler Air Force Base
in Biloxi, Mississippi, has a very special unit of aviators and scientists
called "Hurricane Hunters." Unlike most people, they study hurricanes,
up close! These experienced aviators have been flying their aircraft
into the eyes of hurricanes since 1944, and you can join them! While
enroute, learn about the crew, the instruments used, and the data collected.
Great stuff!
