Library Catalogs

The WHS-LMC runs Spectrum 5.0, a Windows-based catalog. To access the catalog from within the high school only (sorry, no Web access yet), click the Spectrum icon on the desktop of one of the school's computers.

To search WHS-LMC holdings from home, go to the Kansas Library Catalog (KLC), a state-wide catalog which lists materials and the various libraries which "hold" them. WHS-LMC's holdings were added in September 2001 (updated annually in June).

To search the KLC for WHS materials only,

click the "Begin" button to go to the Search screen.
At the Search screen, select the "Advanced Search" tab. At Advanced Search screen, choose the pull down menu (to right) that shows "All Libraries", and select Wamego High School.

Other area Kansas library catalogs that can be searched include:

the Kansas Library Catalog (includes holdings from many of Kansas' academic, public, special, and school libraries),
the Kansas State University Libraries catalog,
the University of Kansas Libraries catalog,
the Manhattan Public Library catalog and,
the Wamego Public Library catalog.

Interlibrary loan services (to borrow materials that are not available at WHS, including articles in magazines and journals) are also available. Ask the librarian.
